Discover a tranquil, restored section of the historic Swansea Canal linking Clydach and Pontardawe in the heart of the Swansea Valley. This leafy waterway offers flat, traffic-free paths perfect for relaxed walks, family-friendly cycling and peaceful nature spotting along the towpath. Part of National Cycle Network Route 43, the route is largely level and accessible, with interpretation panels highlighting the area’s rich industrial heritage and canal engineering.
